Customers say
Customers praise the prenatal vitamins for their high-quality formula and natural ingredients, particularly noting the natural form of folic acid and the presence of DHA. The vitamin content receives positive feedback for containing essential nutrients in the right forms, with one customer highlighting the magnesium content. While some customers find the vitamins easy to swallow, others struggle with this aspect, and there are mixed experiences with stomach reactions, with some reporting no issues while others experience nausea. The taste and smell receive mixed reviews, with some customers reporting no weird taste while others find it awful, and the formula quality also divides opinions between those who like the original formula and those who find the new version awful.

Yes they smell somewhat but give them a chance!
I was worried about the smell after reading all the reviews. The pills do smell somewhat but if you really smell them, you’ll understand they smell like seaweed or algae which is the source of one of the vitamins. This is a NATURAL source of the vitamin and means that you aren’t getting something that is synthetic. For those that are also worried, they don’t actually taste like they smell. There is no flavor to them. I think the issue of the smell could be resolved if the company did these in a gel pill instead of a capsule. I like that these have natural sources of vitamins and minerals. In the synthetic form, some of these vitamins can actually be dangerous once you reach a certain level but your body needs more during pregnancy. It’s a win/win. I also like that these contain a wider array of vitamins and minerals compared to other prenatal out there. I do use the NOW brand with DHA however, those are on back order and needed a replacement prenatal. This one fit the bill for most of the same array as well as being made with the natural sources. I already take Baby and Me 2 Choline/DHA to stack my Choline intake so I don’t have an issue with the DHA being removed in this prenatal. My dogs take fish oil pills and I just added one of those to replace what the Now brand has in it. I also take Inositol and Berberine as supplements with this. For reference, I have PCOS and have had pretty crazy menstrual cycles after a miscarriage 9 months ago but also was getting extra long cycles since post pregnancy 3 years ago. Between pairing a great prenatal with the Inositol/Berberine, my body is back to a normal schedule like before I had my son. I’m now ovulating with upwards of 12-15 eggs a month (at 38 y/o) and my Reproductive Endocrinologist stated everything looks great with my ovaries and reproductive system now. I attribute this to a high quality prenatal which goes a long way to help prep the body to be ready to get pregnant. I’ll update if I do end up getting pregnant again and how long that takes me so you have a reference on these pills. I will be trying for the first time post miscarriage next month. Until then, happy healthy pregnancies and baby dust to all those trying.

True review!!!!!!
TRUE REVIEW!!!!!!!!!!!I have been taking this product consistently for two weeks. Don’t mind the messages regarding the taste or smell. There is no taste. There is a slight smell, but it is absolutely tolerable. The comments about the horrific smell is honestly exaggeration when I read those comments.FIRST, before I got pregnant, I would honestly have to take laxatives to go to the bathroom. That was my fear on becoming pregnant. I thought I was going to be so backed up. I am 35 and have two other children. By day three I was going to the bathroom “naturally” is how I tell my husband. It’s amazing what natural remedies can do for the body. I will definitely consider taking this brand as a multivitamin even after I am pregnant just because now I am honestly regulated with my digestive system. I’m going to the bathroom twice or even three times a day (not diarrhea, just normal). I can’t even tell you the last time I went to the bathroom two times in one day “naturally”I have been a vegetarian for over 15 years. so finding a product like this, I feel really change my life for the future.Second.. skin my skin is glowing! Not pregnancy glowing, like hydrated, feels so smooth, these pills naturally have given me 10 year old skin!!!!I am a normal person. I am not paid for this review. I took the time to write an exciting review because this product is amazing and I guarantee you will be happy.

Quality ingredients! My only complaint is…
My only complaint is the smell and taste but that can’t really be helped and it’s a much better improvement than the last vitamins I tried! I would not recommend taking with a full glass of water, like the directions say, if you have a negative experience. I find it works better for me to take sometime after eating, but only take a sip or 2 of water after swallowing. All the extra water makes me burp up a lot of the taste. Also, don’t take them all at once. At most, take 2 in the same time frame, several minutes apart. That being said, I’m very impressed with all the ingredients and I like that they do not contain the synthetic folic acid; they have the natural form (folate). It also has iodine, which helps your thyroid. Pregnancy can wreak havoc on your thyroid and you could develop hypothyroidism. It happened to my mother. Consuming iodine will help prevent that but there is hardly ANY food source with Iodine except iodized sea salt. Trouble is, you want to avoid salt in your diet so you don’t swell up. The other reason I chose these vitamins is because of the choline, which is important for baby’s brain development but hard to find in most prenatal vitamins. The vitamins I chose before these are these: Garden of Life Vegetarian Prenatal Multivitamin Supplement with Folate – Vitamin Code Raw Prenatal Whole Food Vitamin for Mom and Baby, 180 Capsules. On paper, everything looks right. It’s made from real food, which, in theory, makes them easier to digest and absorb. However, they gave me terrible heart burn and I realized that garlic, green onion, ginger, and possibly tomato contained in the capsules were causing it. Those are known to cause heartburn both as raw and as a powder.

UPDATE: As you can see by my initial review below (I originally gave them 2 stars), I was not pleased with this product. I reached out to the company directly to let them know my thoughts, and they sent me a brand new bottle of their new formula that doesn’t stink! I was happy with that resolution, and since trying the new formula, I am pleased with the product! A company rep also saw my original review, and without notice, sent me (another) free bottle – separate from the first I had received! I was MORE than impressed with their customer service, and enjoy their new formula. I would recommend it (but not sure how to guarantee you’ll be getting the new formula when ordering from Amazon).I’m sure as far as effectiveness goes – it’s a good product. But holy smokes, the odour and taste is almost unbearable. Especially if you are in early pregnancy when you are a bit more sensitive. Even before pregnancy, I would gag while taking the pills because of the smell and the taste combined (and I am rarely bothered by things like this – so this one is pretty bad). It also is a bit of an added set-back that on top of the stench, you have to take 3 at once – which makes it even worse. Burping after taking the vitamins will get you gagging again! And the taste lingers. I definitely won’t be buying these ones again once I am done this current supply. So beware, if you don’t like strong fishy smells/tastes, you won’t like this prenatal!

Very nice vitamins…

I love these vitamins. I absolutely hate the effects of taking a seperate vitamin B tab and these do not have that aweful yellow smelly urine side effect. I’m pretty sure these helped me get pregnant alongside vitex. I don’t feel very pregnant, not as tired as I was with my other pregnancies. My son also takes the multivitamins.I also love the effort this company have gone to with the write up and information. It really does beat all others I’ve looked at.UPDATE 9 weeks pregnantUsually I have terrible morning sickness from 5 weeks and I have had nothing. I feel way better than I have previously. Its so strange to feel this good. I’m sure its these vitamins 🙂
