Last year during the Christmas season, I fail and fractured my knee and really bruise the other knee my daughter sent this ancient nutrition, collagen peptide powder to me and told me to take it put two scoops into my coffee of the morning so I’ve done it for six months.both of my knees are like nothing ever happened. I was wondering if the powder was doing anything so I stopped taking it for month and my knee that was fractured started being achy so I started taking it again and I never even thought of it until now, but my knees have not been achy since I’ve been putting this powder in my coffee once more, it really does works. Been taking forever – feel better overall and think it helps
I’ve been taking this for years and love it. This brand is the top brand. Has all of the collagen you need from all of the sources. I’m mostly vegetarian so I don’t have a chance to get this from other sources. I put it in my morning hot beverage. Can’t taste anything different. Totally dissolves. I always have gut issues and I can say this helps bc I notice when I don’t take it. It’s not my 💯 cure but it helps. I have noticed the scooper size has increased about a year ago. Not sure why. I keep using my old one. Bc if that amount was good enough a year or two ago then why isn’t it just as good now? Sometimes I overfill my scoop.I’ve also noticed there is tons more powder in the individual servings. Idk 🤷🏻♀️ I use those when I travel.

Mix with cold fluids may be better than hot fluids
I have used 10 powered collagen products. This brand doesn’t dissolve very good. The other brands that I used dissolved much better with hot coffee. I found some information that may help other users and had me change my original reviewCollagen can be a bit of a challenge to dissolve. I’ve not seen on any collagen product label stating collagen is actually heat-sensitive. Using it with hot / warm liquids can break down the precious amino acids and denature the protein, which in turn can decrease its effectiveness. (Denature refers to the process in which proteins or nucleic acids lose their natural structure due to external factors like heat, pH changes, or chemicals, resulting in a loss of biological activity).It seems that collagen dissolves better with cold fluids. adding lemon juice or apple cider vinegar rich in acid helps to break down collagen clumps. I tried it with this brand of collagen and it worked much better than with hot coffee. There was just a very tiny bit of residue with cold tea and juice from a real lemon. With hot coffee there was a lot of grit, minute granules, see photos.

I purchased this hoping for relief from joint pain. I haven’t really noticed any difference there yet but I have always had horrible nails. Brittle, weak, white spots all over. My nails are so strong and shiny! I may actually start painting them! Hoping with continued use I will see improvement in my joints.

This is easy to use, I mix it into my cold coffee protein drink that I have every morning. It adds a delicious vanilla flavor and it smells amazing.After the first week I did notice less joint pain, and my skin just looking better and my nails grow faster and break less. So I would say it’s effective. I’m on my second container.
