My son, for reasons other than weight loss, had a significant bariatric-type surgery, meaning that he requires many different nutritional supplements designed for people who have had this kind of procedure. He will take this for the rest of his life. It tastes good, and he has remained healthy.We are grateful for this product that is an important part of his nutritional regimen.

Easy to take calcium
These were on the recommended list from the doctor after my surgery. Although I’m now allowed to take other brands, I prefer these. They taste good, and I consider it a little treat each morning when I take them. I stock up on these during Prime days to make sure I always have some on hand.

Not Bad
These are not horrible. They’re smaller in shape than a quarter but definitely thicker. There’s no getting around the chalkiness, but that’s been my experience with multiple calcium citrate chewables on the market. The taste is mild. Overall, it works for what it needs to do.

This is very chalky and nasty, I tried them and threw it away. Not a pleasant taste or experience.

Lesson learned, always read the reviews & labels
I don’t write reviews, but couldn’t let this one go. I really should have read the reviews and images of the product labels beforehand. Lesson learned.They are advertised as dissoluble, they don’t. I hold one in my mouth for several minutes & am forced to chew it because it will NOT dissolve! They are huge (think double-stacked Tums), taste horrible (make-your-mouth-pucker sour), and are VERY chalky. Plus, you have to take 4/each day! I can barely stomach chewing 2 while drinking water to help dig the chunks out of my teeth and wash the powder off my tonsils.I tried to return it & understandably, you can’t. I am just going to throw it away and call this lesson learned. Hopefully this review helps someone else out!
