Great natural folic acid supplement!
The Bronson Organic Folic Acid is excellent quality. I really like that it’s made from lemon peel and not synthetic folic acid. The tablets are easy to take, and the bottle lasts a long time with 180 tablets. Great value for the price, totally recommend it!

This was the only food-based folate I could find. They don’t have a strong taste, so you can keep them in your mouth for a while. My understanding is that doing this, especially when under the tongue, is the most effective way to take supplements. Some persons’ genetics do not make methyl donors a good choice. That is why methylfolate made me feel bad. I have the MTHFR mutation, so I need folate, and this one makes me feel good. As an alternative I eat more foliage. (Leafy-greens). These pills are made from lemon peel, and I have been wondering, but do not know, whether they come from the white part (pith) or the yellow outer part. If I knew, I might start eating lemon peel, too, in order to get more folate. I often take these with vitamin B12 Hydroxocobalamin form and vitamin B6, P-5-P form, for help with methylation. I got my genes analyzed, and that is what I was led to do.

I Like It But…
In general, I’m pleased with this product. I like that it is organic. The pills are small and easy to swallow and there is no off putting smell, aftertaste, or other ill effects. I have not experienced the “chalkiness” or “dustiness” that other reviewers mention. The only thing I do not like is that the size of the bottle is huge compared to the amount of pills in it. Excessively large and wasteful. Check out my photo, I drew a line where the pills were in a brand new bottle. I also noticed that it says “one year supply” but there are 360 tablets. Not that I *must* have one year’s worth, but it’s not accurate. Just saying!

Bronson always in my home pharmacy ~
I use Bronson Labs and have since the outset of the company ~ only wish I had bought stock in the company when it began just up the street from me in CA, then a small lab, long ago. Doctors I was working with suggested these are GOOD products! I agree. Folic Acid is something I take as helpful warding off heart attack, and my lipids are always high (familial). I do not use it every day, is a Vitamin B, and a lot of B-vitamins give me adult onset acne. Please, I am not practicing medicine here, just my experience of my experience. Suggest you dance your vitamins bottles by your physician, let them read the ingredients if you are not really privy to those and how much.

I love this stuff
I stumbled across a study showing the effectiveness of folic acid in reducing the severity of hot flashes in menopausal women, and the results were impressive enough to make me want to try it. I ordered a bottle of these and started taking one tablet per day, as instructed on the bottle. From the very first day I felt a noticeable difference, and I have not had a hot flash since!! Every now and then I will get a very slight “warming” feeling, but it’s gone in a matter of seconds. I will take it! These are great quality, the tablets are small, and the value for how many you get for the price, just can’t beat it. I won’t be without these, ever. They have greatly increased my comfort level!
