Great product for the price
The size of the tablet and the price made these too difficult to pass on. I find the smell, size, and taste minimal, making them easy to swallow. Living in Alaska, my doctor recommended 10,000 units of vitamin D, so I take one of these with another product to get that total. This brand is new to me but it’s been a positive experience so far.

Vit D – it’s good for you!!
Really like this vitamin D. You literally get almost a years worth but because my Mom and I split it we get about 5 months worth so still an amazing deal! The price was amazing and I got my Mom’s bloodwork back and her vitamin D level was at 75 which is very good – especially for her age which is nearly 80. I have heard that Vit. D is essential for good health and here are just a few reasons why:Maintain the health of bones and teethSupport the health of the immune system, brain, and nervous systemRegulate insulin levels and aid diabetes managementSupport lung function and cardiovascular healthInfluence the expression of genes involved in cancer developmentBut even more reason to use Vit. D? It helps with depression:Studies have shown a link between vitamin D deficiency and depression. Researchers behind a 2013 meta-analysis noticed that study participants with depression also had low vitamin D levels. The same analysis found that, statistically, people with low vitamin D were at a much greater risk of depression. The researchers believe that because vitamin D is important to brain function, insufficient nutrient levels may play a role in depression and other mental illnesses. An earlier 2005 study identified vitamin D receptors in the same areas of the brain associated with depression.I don’t know about you? But I could use all the “happy” (and legal/healthy for you) supplements that I can get!
