The tablet was a little bigger than I had hoped but a lot small than most vitamins. Easy to cut into halves. Worth the buy.

Each pill is 555% of your daily vitamin c, so I have to break down the pills a bit in order to get a smaller dose. Other than that the product is fine.

I have been using Freeda’s vitamins and supplements for more than 20 years and highly recommend them. Freeda’s products are kosher and are therefore free of much of the “filler” that can be found in other vitamin and supplement products, which is good for me because of my severe allergies and sensitivities.

Simple, easy swallow vitamin C
When it comes to the supplement, I think vitamin C has the longest history of being consumed by us. I believe many people already heard about the scurvy story, vitamin C is one of the essential vitamins that we have to take from food. This vitamin C is simple but does its job. So here is what I think.Ingredients:I am not sure about the source of this vitamin C since the company didn’t say anything about it. Some probably knows, the vitamin C is not a rocket science and it can be synthesized fairly easily from the corn starch. This company mentioned vegetarian source of vitamin C and it’s very unclear where they sourced the vitamin C. It doesn’t matter it’s synthetic or single / multiple veggie sourced vitamin to me but I still want to know as a customer. Many believe they (synthetic) lack essential “phytochemicals” but as a researching scientist, I think they are in negligible amount to take effects. So to me, the highest vitamin C concentration without much weird stuff, then it’s good supplement since I don’t eat fruits and veggies religiously. Anyhow, it is 500mg of vitamin C (practically megadose) and contains very common particle binders like microcrystalline cellulose and silica. Good thing is this tablet doesn’t contain any sugar unlike many other candy-like vitamin C supplements.Taste/Intake:As the company marketed, it’s relatively easier to take it due to the small size and texture. It’s practically a soft tablet, so you can actually chew if you want (if you can bear the sour taste of the vitamin C.) It doesn’t taste graceful but still, if you cannot swallow easily then it’s doable.Effectiveness:I normally take vitamin C 500mg pill regularly, and I recently changed to this brand and didn’t feel much difference. Meaning, it’s anecdotal but I assume it works as good as other more expensive, plant-sourced vitamin C brands.Buy this if you need: easy to swallow – chewable (not recommended though due to the taste)Don’t if you think: phytochemical is very important (which I don’t think.)
