This protein continues to be great time and time again. Its a solid choice if you are look8ng to add protein to your diet after a workout but dont want to take the time to eat a bunch of eggs. 😅

Not bad for the price.
I bought a 10lb bag of this for under $100 not too long ago. For that price it is a great value. It is a pretty good protein blend with a great amino acid profile. It mixes extremely well with milk or water. The scoop was in the VERY bottom of the bag, which is frustrating. My biggest beef is the taste. It has an ok chocolate flavor, but the bogus sweetener taste is pretty strong. I will definitely buy this again as long as it stays pretty close to $100 for 10lbs. It isn’t worth much more than that though.

Bought 2 bags of these. My local sprouts market had protein powder that went from $7.99 per pound to $15.29 per pound. This one was $8.45 per pound. I was buying for the amount of protein per serving and for the price. But it actually tastes good.

Ugh…..awful….just plain awful. Worst protein powder ever.
I ordered the wrong NOW protein powder. I have been using the NOW Protein Whey Isolate Unflavored Protein Powder and it is top notch…..it is EXCELLENT. Anyway, I didn’t read the description closely and ordered based on a quick look at the bag not realizing NOW made other versions of protein powder using the same large silver Mylar bag. So, now I have to stick with this protein powder as it is non-returnable. First of all it has a great chocolate smell upon opening the bag. The consistency of this concentrate protein powder is different from whey protein powder. This one has more of a granular like consistency versus whey protein powder that is actually more fluffy powder like and which I prefer. Now on to the taste and this is where the “ugh” part comes in. WAY TOO SWEET with a yucky stevia aftertaste. If I make it all the way through 10 pounds of this protein powder it will be a miracle. I think I am actually being generous giving a 2 star rating based on the horrible taste alone. There is a chocolate taste in there…..but only sorta. The overwhelming sweet taste slams any chocolate taste more or less away. One last downside to this protein powder that I do not experience with the whey protein powder. It gives me literally HORRIBLE gas. I mean it is atrocious. It will make the paint peel on your walls. So bad my dogs even look at me like “REALLY?” In terms of any muscle gains with this protein powder it is too early to tell. I can’t wait to be through with this protein powder and get back to my beloved NOW whey isolate unflavored protein powder. This is gonna be rough. Long story short, I can’t recommend this protein powder based on the yucky taste alone. It is bad. By the way, this protein powder contains Xylitol. I won’t explain here what it does to you. Go look it up yourself.
